2023 UF COM CELEBRATION OF RESEARCH
University of Florida students, alumni, and families who attended the research symposium had the opportunity to get hands-on experience with our simulators. UF COM EMERGENCY MEDICINE PROCEDURE PALOOZA
Medical students from all years of training were invited to try their hands at our CELS task trainers. From airways to CVLs to ultrasounds, students could practice the many procedures they will one day perform as providers! Photos by Allie Harris.
MD CLASS OF 1972 REUNION
The class of 1972 and their families joined us for a tour of CELS where they performed a spontaneous birth, practiced their CPR skills, took care of our premature infant simulator, and tried their hand at the laparoscopic trainers. It was a fun day to show them what CELS has to offer! Photos taken by Jesse Jones and Louis Brems.
ESCAMBIA COUNTY EMS TRAINING DAY
CELS faculty traveled to Escambia County to train Emergency Medical Personnel including firefighters, lifeguards, and paramedics on pediatric resuscitation procedures. Bringing our simulators “Tory”, “Hal”, and Premature Infant “Anne” we had a fun day making a difference in our community. Pictures provided by the Escambia County Emergency Medical Services.
